…India is faced with the dual challenge of poor functional literacy and a lack of skilled, trained labour. A paucity of developmental opportunities for rural India and its women, further excludes a large section of the population from participating in the formal economy. For a people and its nation to enjoy peace and development, accessibility to skills, knowledge and employment are a must, as are efforts towards inclusion of those at the bottom of the pyramid.
