Human capital, skills and education levels are built generationally. At SOACH we believe that by enabling women and children with skills and capabilities we impact not just their life chances but that of the entire community for generations to come.
SOACH thus focuses on raising the aspirations, achievements and life chances of women and children, particularly in rural India. Socially and economically more vulnerable than their urban equals, rural India is cut-off from some of the most basic facilities and opportunities. Within this, irrespective of caste or class, women are further at-risk.
Through participatory dialogues and discussions, SOACH works with the disadvantaged, helping them imagine how their world can be different and giving them the confidence to participate comprehensively and equitably with their immediate environment and the larger contemporary world
